In response to growing concerns surrounding privacy and security, Google has faced heightened scrutiny regarding its practices. To address this, we launched the Google Safety Center in 2021, a platform designed to offer transparency regarding Google's data and privacy policies across its products.
The Google Safety Center's design was crafted to be modular, flexible, and accessible across 18+ different locations in North America, South America, Asia, and Europe. Our visual design approach prioritized establishing foundational elements, including a color palette, typography stack, grids, spacing specifications, and icons, all integrated into a cohesive design system.
The results? A website that provides resources on how to stay safe online. We produced and supervised the adaptation and localization of over 3,000+ assets (static and animated UI screens) across 35+ languages, ensuring global accessibility and impact.
